    How to upgrade my Android to gingerbread or honeycomb?

    I have heaps and gobs of computer experience, but i dont have much experience with android. I wish to upgrade my HTC incredible to 2.3 or 3.0 (if that has come out yet, IDK) from Froyo. Is this an automatic thing, or do I have to download and install it manually? thanks
