We want to "lay" a garden path which does not include too much digging out of earth.
Any suggestions please ?
I like the idea of stepping stones. But will keeping lawn short in between and around them be a problem.

Prefer a deep soft warm carpet but doesnt show "bad" shading when you hoover or footprints when you walk across it.
Want a beigy/brown colour.
Present old carpet is very thick Polypropylene in a dark green which shows every mark.
Any practical advice Please ?
