    Why do people think that dance isn't a sport?

    Why is it that people say dance isn't a sport? Seriously i think dance is probably harder then many sports! I know that my team practices 5 days a week 3 of those days are at 6 AM and the others are after school, and all of them last 2 hours! Also our season is WAY longer than the other sports...
