STAR TREK Appreciation #1: In 2009 comes a new vision of the greatest space adventure of all time

A gag reel?!? SERIOUSLY! Oh my God!! I love gag reels; and this one's going to be especially funny. But, wait, is that just blue-ray? Deleted scenes look good too. Spock's birth!

STAR TREK Appreciation #1: In 2009 comes a new vision of the greatest space adventure of all time

Hey Sadia! How is it that you and I happen to like most of the same films? And love your sig. I just thought I'd drop in since I've been following this thread since I saw Star Trek for the first time last Wednesday and post something. After seeing the film, I can't believe I was so against...

Any Type(s) of Movie(s) You Avoid? Why?

I've grown out of animation, which no one understands, including my brother who always tries to persuade me to go see one with him, like How to Train Your Dragon. Movies like Finding Nemo and WallE I just don't care for. I also won't see anything with Jodie Foster or what qualifies as real...

The first film I remember watching that wasn't Disney or animation was the Princess Bride with my paternal grandmother when I was six.

500 Days of Summer: "This is not a love story. It's a story about love."

I loved the soundtrack to this film. I have to find it somewhere. I liked the film all right. It didn't feel complete, but that was the point. But I especially liked the artwork tossed in and, oh, the clothes.

    Inception (2010, Spoilers)

:yay: Inception has a thread. I've seen it twice in three days; little fanatic. I have to disagree with the person that said Ariadne was dispensable. She was the audience's eyes into the world; the film needed her. As did Cobb. I'm usually not a huge fan of Ellen's, but I thought she was...

    Tim Burton's Alice in Wonderland

I saw this movie opening day with my brother and, although I am not a fan of Alice in Wonderland or the Wizard of Oz or any film that carries the young protagonist into another world that she can't escape from, this one has grown on me since I saw it. I really can't stop thinking about it...

The Screencap Guessing Game #11: Difficult caps only please!

It is not Miguel Ferrer and that's a minor character. The genre of the film is crime/heist and comedy.

STAR TREK Appreciation #1: In 2009 comes a new vision of the greatest space adventure of all time

 I'm doing good. Writing. How are you? I hope they do decide to do a sequel. even if 2011 is too long. J.J. Abrams did really well for a guy who almost didn't commit to the project (but I'm sure glad he did) so here's crossing our fingers that he directs again. My brother and I are...
