PUSH (2009) #1: "..One Push is all it takes..."

I just watched Sunshine tonight; I still love that film. And it's friggin Danny Boyle. I haven't heard of Fierce People. I guess I should check it out.

The Unwritten Rules of Movie Watching

Gah, I hate that because it never fails. My worst experience was watching Monster's Ball for the first time at my house. The big sex scene came up and, of course, in walked my grandparents who were staying with my family for the weekend. And they stood there and watched. Oh, and then my father...

STAR TREK Appreciation #1: In 2009 comes a new vision of the greatest space adventure of all time

YES! One of the guys mentioned it in an interview, much to Chris' chagrin. Paint me intrigued, Pip. What would these be?

But who knows. They're could be deleted and/or alternate scenes on the DVD (October!!) that delve into both.

    Transformers II-Revenge of the Fallen

Did anyone else think this film was a bit too long? I went to the midnight premiere, and, God, it was like it would never end.

STAR TREK Appreciation #1: In 2009 comes a new vision of the greatest space adventure of all time

I know how you feel. You can't help but get immediately involved and attached to these characters, even when you know the choices they're going to make. Like, I still flipped out when Jim leapt off the drill to save Sulu; knew he was going to do it and ignore Chekov, but I still flinched. And...

    Dude, Worst Movie Ever! #2

Ugh, how tedious and futile an argument. We disagree, move it on.

House of Wax #2-Because you can never see it to many times

Oh my God, I didn't even know a thread existed for this film. I love this movie, despite it's cheesiness. It's so a guilty pleasure, right there next to the Ruins and the Hitcher.

STAR TREK Appreciation #1: In 2009 comes a new vision of the greatest space adventure of all time

I know. That was such great acting on Zachary Quinto's part. I wanted to cry each time from just the look on his face. Didn't Karl Urban say that Bones was one of his favorite characters of all time and when he heard they were making a new Star Trek film he just had to play Bones? I think I...

Yep, October. No definite date, but that's the month. There better be a special 2-disc set.

I so wish they would make that sequel.

AVATAR - An All New World Awaits

I'm usually really against 3D since it hurts my eyes, but this film, I think, can only be shown justice in that format. Watching it in 2D just wouldn't be the same.

Too Awkward? Too Scary? Too Sexy? Scenes You Can't Watch.

^ I need to see that one. Have you see Colin's other film, In Bruges? So good. I thought of another one: the end of Eagle Eye when Shia LaBeouf's character has gotten into the room with the president. I just can't watch. The very notion of what happens haunts me.

    Funniest Movie Moments *lulz*

Star Trek - after Bones hypos Jim, Jim wakes and runs frantically around the ship. Chris Pine and Karl Urban worked perfectly off each other. Favorite bits within the scene: (Bones stabs Jim again) "Stop it!" Jim yelps, glaring. "...was the ship wallulla?" "What?" (turning to Bones)...
