Rich and middle class people are fighting over there too, if you knew anything you'd realize they still have a choice as to being sent over. The whole message of the song is ridiculous seeing as every single person that is over there had a choice to be there or not.

The artwork gets much better as the story progresses, especially in the manga. I know the manga artwork sucked in chapter 1, and by chapter 70 or so, it was some of the best I've seen. Also, you should try watching a few more episodes. I don't think the real story kicks in by where you stopped...
