    that's easy. Throw it out and get a mac! check your device manager. check your system sounds settings. and then make sure you have the volume turned up on the program you are using.

    Your 1SG isn't the approving authority, he's not even a recommending authority. I would suggest a compassionate reassignment. Talk to your S-1 personnel about it. Enlisted personnel cannot approve or disapprove any action. It's the officers who are the authority.
