Is there a way to bypass a 86 Honda accord, in tank fuel pump?

89 honda accord fuel pump question.?
my fuel pump went out in my 89 honda accord, i was told i can remove the rear seat to get to it or i can get to it from my trunk. is it the rear seat or trunk, i dont have the time to rip out the wrong one. thnx
