    Can medicines effect periods?

    About 4 weeks ago I had bronchitis and was given some medicine but it gave me chest pains and I had really bad side effects. So I was switched to a different medicine. Can this effect my period since I was on different medicines and had side effects?I finished the medicine around Christmas time?
