got to add fluid about once a month, wet around the low pressure hose and the pump, i cant see nothing coming out when i turn the wheel. A mechanic said it was the pump,but he could have just said that also. Any ideas or suggestions thanks, i bought a hose for it.

my manual says only to use 5w 20 in this engine, my dad says i should use thicker weight in summer and thinner weight in winter.
