I got the chords just fine, but the strumming is throwing me off. Can anybody familiar with it type/draw out a strumming pattern for me?

I dont mean its history and origins etc, but what it is, the style itself. I'm having trouble really getting it. And if you know of any really good interesting pieces from that time period it'd help to see those as well. OK, the articles are helpful, but i'm a highschool student. i need plain...
