    Is there some kind of situation where a hormone affecting a cell involves...?

    an increase in a certain protein(s) ? i know that there are some situations where a hormone increases the concentration of cAMP, or Calcium ions (for the signal transduction pathway) but idk about proteins.... can you help? thanks so much
