    Connected my PC to my TV with an HDMI cable, have picture but no sound?

    Brand new PC, Windows XP 32 bit, connected with HDMI cable, the picture is perfectly fine but there is no sound whatsoever, not even the default system sounds. Can anyone help me with this?
