    windows media player won't show songs on my mp3?

    I'm trying to look at songs on my mp3 through windows media player but for some reason it's claiming that i have no songs on my mp3 player, but i do have songs on my device so how can i see my songs? HELP i need an answer ASAP! thanks so much!
