    would a 2001 ford focus that has no leaks loose a quart of oil in 1 months time?

    I only had the car a month and 6 days and the motor broke a rod I had the oil changed by walmart and they put 4 quarts in and now it was a quart low no leaks, nothing wrong with oil pump or filter, oil was not burning, would the rod have broken due to lack of oil?
