I wanted to leave the cinema during Escape from LA but would have to have woken up the guy next to me first !! Odd considering the first film was great but LA was just a poor low budget remake. Same plot different town.

Far fewer CGI shots than in most fantasy/adventure movies. A few hundred in Indy compared with thousanRAB in something like Spider-Man. The movie did have many more physical stunts than others of its type.

Cliffhanger Fright Night Angel Heart I suppose an Angel Heart remake could possibly be watchable but the twist is now known (and was fairly obvious anyway) and it was the imagery,atmosphere and charismatic performances that carried the original. Hard to imagine anybody doing a better job...

I loved this film. Wasn't going to go, looked far too silly and cheesy for my liking but I'm SO glad I did. It's great, so funny and heart-warming, plus I adored all the ABBA songs and most of the actresses and actors. Meryl Streep is a Goddess! When I grow up I want to be just like her :D:cool:
