Went to see it last night - not really impressed. Overall I walked away with the impression that this was just another teen slasher gore fest movie - albeit with aliens instead of your usual murderer/pissed off teen/psychopath.

Turturro had the best line in the whole film in that scene. It saved it from being a turkey to being something which was just watchable. First time I think I've ever heard the word scrotum used for comedic effect in a film. :D

Have to agree with Hostel. I think the fact that it 'Could' be true disturbes me more than Saw etc. I mean you here of people just disappearing. Plus the torture scenes were stomach churning, at least for me. Has put me right off Horror films.

Non 'a-list' actors and actresses can be good at acting, just because a film has no big names in doesn't mean it will be rubbish in the acting department. It looks fun but some things look rather cheesy... and I don't have hope coming from Alien Vs Predator 2 directors...
