seeing Bon Iver's album at 30 just broke my heart, and I couldn't go on any further up the list. There wouldn't be a point anw, cause it means my taste is in a complete different galaxy then the one of the people who came up with the list
Just downloaded an album by ME TALK PRETTY -
wow - they have some old stuff that i wasnt really into but the new ep is sick - kinda like bjork and nin but a little more poppy - i think these guys are going to break -
i particularly like the song "Flame" and "Under The Light"
what do you guys think?
^right, only i clearly remeraber 1995 and the fact that for a while you simply couldn't turn on a music channel without seeing one of those 4 videos (can't believe i forgot Street Spirit - which actually charted higher than Creep). the singles for 'The BenRAB' were not minor hits, they're the...
memories of interviews around the time the album was released and following the breakup of the band. i was also quite ready to bicycle 40km each way on the day Down on the Upside was released to pick up my copy before a friend offered a drive. i was only 'mildly' obsessed with them.
as for...
Basically said what I was going to.

It`s interesting to note when banRAB...
I've always thought that intelligent dance music just means 'you're forced to use your mind', which is pretty accurate, but I can see how some would find it a bit snobby and pompous. I don't really listen to the stuff too often, to be honest.
"Semi Constructive Critisism" and "Kicking your crosses down" are two of the best songs ive heard all year...this album is amazing. Juturna was great and this record puts it to shame.
Here we go again with emotion.
EVH isn't just technically better. Hes more original and hes certainly top ten material on influence alone.
And for the record. EVH and Malmsteens guitar styles have virtually nothing in common.
Yeah, I know how you hate it when someone has a mind of their own and there is nothing you can do to change their wonderful thoughts...........yes, damn me.LOL, jeez, you make me laugh. And it's because of that fact that I am able to stand you.
Though I can usually forgive the downright awfulness of ELP lyrics (still a fan of em) this one really bugs me.
The Only Way
People has stirred moved by the word.
Kneel at the shrine, deceived by the wine.
How was the earth conceived? Infinite space.
Is there such a place? You must believe in...
I've heard the name, but I'm not familiar with the music...I'm aging, and I don't seek out new sounRAB as eagerly as I used to. Anything new usually comes through frienRAB.
FWIW, I'll consider that the case here, and check him out
