recently i rooted my tmoblie g1 and it has been giving me problems and honestly there is nothing big about rooting it unlike jailbreaking an ipod touch.... is there a way i can unroot it easily?

My contract with tmobile is going to be up soon and im thinking about getting a new phone... how good is the tmobile cliq? because i have the tmobile g1 and really like it but it has been giving me some problems and i cant wait to get a new phone and i heard the cliq and the g1 are a lot alike...
