    Foo Fighters

To the first part: That is where i disagree, in thinking that yes, it is hard to wright that "catchy of a pop song". There are many on the radio, rather TONS on the radio, but i feel only a very small amount of those are actually catchy and clever, with the Foo Fighters music being one of the...

    System of a Down

Em, no, it really wasn't. I just heard it and it's basically slightly watered down SOAD...as suspected, not particularly memorable. On the bright side, I'm beginning to warm up to Hypnotize...(:

    The Fall of Troy

I might be doing it with my friend Keith, but I would have to skip a class to do it. I'll post it on our podcast sites and put the link for it here after we play it on our radio show.

    The Deftones

I used to think there was a girl in this band. No joke, but it's just the guitar. How awesome is that.

    Greatest Band? Whos yours?

Every band has a bad album... unless they only put out one. For this reason i have to say interpol. Perfect album Turn On The Bright Lights However, you didn't say it had to be metal or rock, even though it is in the rock and metal forum... Why was that anyways? Shouldn't it have been placed...

    10 years on

Mars Volta. I think they're going to revolutionize progressive rock as we know it. They've released 2 albums, both are great, but i get the feeling they're just beginning to come into their own.

    Epic Song Moments

5mW0Ngv05Mw At 0:13 it starts grooving (this gets me every time) and then it goes into a whirlpool. Just as it manages to emerge, at 1:29 everything melts and after a while it comes back again. At 2:13 it's all cool. Great instrumental.

    Unpopular Music Opinions

LOL Yes is listed in the math rock wiki? Math rock is definitely influenced by progressive rock but I would not go as far (and it's really far) as to say Yes is math rock. As for shoegaze, I associate the mopey and kind of shy or introverted sound of the music with the name more...

Seriously that has ZERO creativity. This had potential...but the text and designs are just slapped on horribly.

    Rock N' Roll

1969 Led Zeppelin sold there first record. No one heard of this band at that point. In the 70's Zeppelin was one of the biggest banRAB. Better then disco, better then popular music, Zeppelin had it all. There were four men in the group, three of which played instruments, Jimmy Page (Guitarist)...
