I have to agree with this. I find the better the CGI the less interest and less involvement I have in a film. I can watch some of the most appalling SFX and still enjoy the film and even believe in it even when it is obviously not real. I struggle to do that with modern CGI.

At least he knows it looks crap unlike the other couple who fed them carbs and didn't even seem to know it.

The only scary thing about this film, and most scary films are the silent parts. When it goes quiet, you're expecting some thing to happen, so if I'm on my own watching, I'll turn the volume down until some thing happens. Thats what I found with this movie, it got tense in those parts. Other...

That "Bedazzled" movie with Liz Hurley was on tv at the weekend, it was so shockingly bad I felt like gouging my eyes out with knitting needles. Probably the least convincing portrayal of Satan I've ever seen, including cartoons.
