You can put them in a dish with water and put them in a microwave. Check online for microwave recipes and cooking times. I have done a ton of cooking in the microwave but never that. It's great for a lot of different things. Also much faster than a crock pot.

What happened to her toy? She could need a replacement although it sounds like she just misses you when you are gone and wants to spend some time with you when you are home. Doesn't sound like you really have a problem.
