Crimewatch and Watchdog have both become info-tainment now, and are vastly dumbed down.

I made that judgement based only on the trailer... which conveniently is one of those that tells you the entire plot of the movie so you don't have to waste time watching it :)

A History Of Horror With Mark Gatiss... Coming soon to BBC Four.

It's remarkable how much impact the old Universal horrors have had. If you asked a 10 year old to draw Frankenstein's monster, they will draw the one depicted by Boris Karloff with the flat head and the neck bolts. They've never seen the film, but that design is so iconic and absorbed into...

    Slumdog millionaire...make it stop.

saw the film last week and (me and the wife) love it, the emotions of the film stayed with us past the end of the film. for us our marker of a good film has been whether there is conversation about it afterwarRAB and whether we would recommend to our family and frienRAB. Hip replacement surgery

Post-anesthesia psychosis is relatively common in the elderly. I know of people who have been disoriented for several days and then snapped out of it. What can also happen, is that if someone has been tending towards disorientation, anesthesia can push that tendency along. Since your Mom was...

    District 9?

Really enjoyed it, and I'm sucker for movies with bitter-sweet endings. I hope there isn't a sequel, and they leave it as it is, leaving the viewers to their imagination. I loved the lack of an American accents, all for more major releases being filmed elsewhere!

    What could this be?

Basically she thinks the fatigue is because my pulse ox is low. They did blood work, a TB test (AGAIN!), I have a CT on Monday, and they are setting up a appointment with a pulmonary specialist. So once all that stuff gets figured out, I guess I will better know what to do from here. Tina

    A disturbing DVD trend

Someone said BFFC should state the cuts, I don't think they do I could be wrong though. However the best site to use is IMDB and then go onto alternate versions. It tells you what was cut. And it says for that temple of doom, the actual thetre release did not contain the heart scene

Remakes you wish had never happened

I have to confess I haven't seen the original of The Fly but the '86 version is scaaaarryyy! I really wish they hadn't remade "The Incredible Journey" to "Homeward Bound: The Incredible Journey," because the former is one of my favourite childhood (and current) films, but whenever I mention it...
