what rotation starter do i put on my 1982 ski nautique will a regular ford starter work?

Why is my truck rumbling when I start it up? 95 Toyota Tacoma...?
Im thinking its sparks plugs? does that sound right? I have changed the oil and filter, it stopped a little... but still now when i start it up it shakes left and right and finally kicks in.... im worried its going to die. Dont flame me. My other car is nice, just worried about my truck...
