I have to agree with Skagen on this. The BL-5C batteries are so cheap you can pick up a couple for very little. I was fortunate that I had 2 batteries with my 6230b that I used with my E50. The BL-5C is sufficient with the non-camera version of this phone imo.

another phone to look at is the cingular 2125... it's also not a small phone, but it has good functionality a fairly big screen, but not as big as a pda or blackberry. No keyboard though.
