While a FW update can surely help, given that this thing is positioned as an imaging device and is the first to house an 8MP snapper (for Nokia), they should have nailed it. And they did not. Long live the N82...at least until a FW update for the N86.

It's the sleep mode clock when the phone is closed and the screen shuts off. I think all the Nseries devices has this feature. It shows missed events without having to press the phone all the time.
