I thought it was rather good. The idea that someone should stop making films because someone doesn't like their work is absurd anyway.

It was a good film - trailer looked a bit too much like full on action for my liking but fortunately it wasn't like that. As a committed non-smoker I still feel McClane should smoke - he's supposed to be imperfect and a little troubled after all (didn't notice him wearing a seatbelt ever either) :)

Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind is my favourite Ghibli film, and probably one of my all time favourites in the whole Animation world.

Yep, I got it for Christmas as well because I couldn't get tickets for the cinema and it's fantastic! One of the best films of 2007 for me. It's such a mood lifter - it makes me smile. :)

LoaRAB of the ones mentioned above and a really, really sad and moving film is 'The Wind That Shakes the Barley'....it's directed by Ken Loach and about Ireland and it's struggle for independence..mad me angry and sad :(
