    Captain Beefheart & His Magic Band - Safe As Milk (1967, Buddha Records)

    First time I ever listened to Captain Beefheart it was Trout Mask Replica and I hated it. When I heard this album I found it so much easier to get into and found that when you could live with this album the other albums made much more sense.

    Anime songs you do NOT like

    Pretty much anything by TM Revolution. The music itself is awesome, and the guy has a great voice, but he's also got one of the choppiest, most disjointed singing styles I've ever heard. Plus, whenever I hear him I think of Gundam SEED.
