Is it OK if a man, in a relationship or married, goes ballroom (Salsa, Tango,...

It's absolutely fine. I go ice dancing and there are several married men there whose wives don't take part because they choose not to. There's no law that husbands and wives have to share all their hobbies. My husband doesn't skate and nor does the wife of a man who I regularly dance with...

Do authors publicize their crappy books first and build skill and story as they go

You start with anything you can sell. That's about 1 in 1000 finished, polished novels. I'd have to say, both "lengthy and unique" and "short with not much story" don't fill me with any conviction that you'll be able to sell either of them. But it's especially unlikely that you will be able to...

Is it possible to be an architect and published fiction author at the same time?

The vast majority of published fiction authors write in their spare time and have another career as well. Only the very successful can afford not to. So it's not only possible, it's probable.

For people in the UK... Which city has the best student environment: Manchester,

Well, they're all big industrial cities with lots of students and top level professional sports teams. If you want to run in the countryside, you'll have to travel to it from the centre of any of them. Probably Sheffield is the most compact and has rugged open countryside closest. Bear in...

How to write like a proper author?

You practice. You also put effort into your spelling. Stephenie Meyer's style is particularly easy, since most 14 year olds can manage it.

Famous authors/books that are considered impressive by examiners?

None, I'm afraid. Name-dropping doesn't impress examiners in the slightest. Saying something intelligent, interesting and original about what you have read does that.

Child did not pass gifted test and we are crushed!?

Nothing "went wrong". Gifted isn't something you are or you aren't, it's a continuous scale. Your son isn't quite high enough on it for this one program. Why are _you_ hurt? It wasn't your test and it isn't your life. Get over yourself. Unless you promised him something you couldn't give him...

what courses count as higher education?

Anything which is above A level. I suspect nursing does - but if you are unsure I would ring them up and ask.

PEOPLE GOOD AT WRITING OR READS AUTOBIOGRAPHY?

What is a Bed course? If you mean a B.Ed you can't do that at college at 16. You'd need to be 18 and have A levels. It's a degree. More research needed. Teachers don't leave school at 16, I'm afraid.

I need some new books to read?

I enjoyed Tanya Huff's Blood Ties series. Not exactly superior literature, but they are a fun read. Less good than Anne Rice, a million times better than Twilight. And definitely not YA - not because of "maturity" so much as because the characters are adults with adult concerns.

How do I count my words from my up coming book?

If you don't use Word, just put "word count" into a search engine. There are loads of free ones out there.

Oh dear, did Nonsense get his account deleted? Did he?

At a public library can I check out the books again cause I didnt get them done?

Yes, unless someone else has reserved them and is waiting.

The new Dan Brown book - have you read it yet?

No, and I'm not going to. I can't get past his appalling no-research "science". Even science fiction needs to _sound_ as if it might work, and he's presenting stuff which is allegedly understood physics, and getting it completely wrong.

Breastfeeding mothers, do you secretly judge bottlefeeding moms?

I try not to, but sometimes it's difficult. I still remember sitting in a toddler group meeting where a bunch of bottlefeeding mums were discussing how revolting the idea of using donated breastmilk was and how they couldn't understand how anyone would do _that_ rather than go onto formula. As...

How can a person sell more of thier own books?

You have a Publisher who will publish Things written by People who have no idea where to use capital Letters? Sorry, I wouldn't buy it based on the level of literacy displayed in this question alone. You might want to consider that before you start advertising too widely.
