    How do I count my words from my up coming book?

    If you don't use Word, just put "word count" into a search engine. There are loads of free ones out there.

    The new Dan Brown book - have you read it yet?

    No, and I'm not going to. I can't get past his appalling no-research "science". Even science fiction needs to _sound_ as if it might work, and he's presenting stuff which is allegedly understood physics, and getting it completely wrong.

    Do you think that when kids are whining that copying them?

    I don't know about "funny", but I find it generally stops it instantly. They really don't like the idea that that's how they sound.
