I want some media organizing software that is capable of keeping all my films/tv shows/music/photos etc in check. Its vital that it is able to categories my tv shows ( I want it to be able to put them into a "Show" category then into seasons. However it doesn't have to be anything amazingly...

When I plug my phone into my PC via usb it comes up with an option to set it as a mass storage device, webcam or Com Port. What exactly is a Com Port, what does it do and most importantly what is it doing in my phone? :/
