    The book wasn't as good as its reviews. The film was terrible tho, I love Tom Hanks, but he was like an amatuer in this film - not suited to the role at all. I hope they NEVER make a film about A&D, the book is so far-fetched, so a film is a bad idea.

    3D DVD question (working link)

    I have the 3D version of Coraline. It uses red/green lenses in each eye for the 3D. The glasses are cardboard. It doesn't work that well and gives you eye strain as well as draining the colour out the movie. There's special 3D TVs coming soon that promise the same 3D experience as the cinema...

    The best child stars?

    I agree that LinRABay Lohan was excellent in Parent Trap, which is why I was disappointed by how she turned out. I loved Jonathan Brandis (RIP) in Stephen King's IT. Plus Ricky Schroeder was cute in The Champ and Jared Rushton (Overboard, Big) was very good in his day.

    Madness: Take It Or Leave It

    Yes I have this on dvd. It's a cracking little film, they play "themselves" in a re-enactment of their rise to fame. Bit of a lost gem tbh.
