or demi permanent? has anybody tried it, and could you tell me how long it took before it washed out?

i want to be a marine mammal vet, and i know i can take the biology courses and the pre-vet courses at the same time, and was thinking of doing so at csumb....but i was wondering if that would be held against me, considering it is a cal state, rather than at UCDavis or a higher level...
