Their lyrics are highly repetive and have to do with the undead. I know where they got their name from as well. The Black Dahlia Murder was a murder case in which a woman was sawn in half, had her arms raised over her head and had grass put in her vagina. quite graphic I must say.
I stopped watching the first season of this on about episode 6, not because it was bad, but because I was super busy with other things, I'll try to catch up sometime soon for the second season as the first was quite enjoyable.
Considering Wing was the only Gundam series to be a major success in America I'd say it deserves it's place at nuraber 14 on the list here more than any UC Gundam series and on more than just nostalgia.

Marcy Playground - Marcy Playground
Sadly this band was written off as a one-hit wonder after the single "Sex and Candy", but their debut album is very solid. The single is probably the song I like least. I haven't gotten into their other albums as much but this is a classic for me.
