All of the anime i've watched so far there has been quite close to the original and the manga ( if there is one). They're usually on around 10 pm plus. My sis and i watch Rourine Kenshin and the wording is almost the same as the manga( some of the voices leave much to be desired although :P )...

I'm not that into anime and even I'd take a look at those. They sound really good and original, not confusing and/or awkward. I've never understood why a niche eventually settles into an even SMALLER niche. I'd take that stuff over saucer-eyed hyperactive chibis with magical panties any day.
