Every time the vectors corabined to form Aquarion they merged with "wondrous" results especially for female pilots. So, yeah, that happened a lot. Rather a running joke for the entire show.

I am looking at the picture http://www.i-hacked.com/images/stories/Treo650/Treo650-pinout-2.jpg and it appears that pin 7 & 8 on the T5 plug seem to be soldered together. Is this correct? Also, will any T5 cable do?
