Pry off the lower dash trim panels, then remove the screws that hold the dash face in place. There are about 4 across the top, and I think only 4 on the bottom. Tilt the steering wheel to it's lowest position and remove the face panel. Then look for and remove 4 screws holding the instrument...

Easy solution.........have it replaced. Cheap solution........none. You got a bad one. Be sure you have enough fluid, and it is the proper type.

They don't use them. You have to "slacken" the alternator, steering pump, or AC idler to remove/replace belts. Look it up in the AutoZone website. It may have a good illustration. You will have to register (it's free), then look under the repair section until you find what you need.

$500.00 is an average dealer price for that repair, but the glass does not have to be replaced, unless they broke it. I have done hundreds of window regulators, most cost around $200.00. I installed one today in a Ford truck. The customer furnished the regulator (he paid $169.00 from Ford) cost...
