It's all a bit trivial though really isn't it. When people talk about "the best songs ever", they're really just referring to their all-time favourites rather than passing some judgment on songs and their compositional value.

There's nothing wrong with listening to a bit of cheese once in a while. Sometimes I don't want to listen to stuff that innovative or original , sometimes I just want to listen to something loud and rock out a bit.
