    my 5230 is 100% de-branded

I don't think you have a choice now. If I'm not mistaken, that update is newer than the unbranded firmware and it doesn't allow you to downgrade. If you try to flash, you'll probably get a "flashing failed" error message.

    McCain/Palin = teh win!

It would be difficult for a rational thinking person to feel comfortable with her being in line to become the potential next president, given she can NOT FORMULATE A COHERENT FUCKING SENTENCE.

    *OFFICIAL THREAD: Nokia E71

Funny that the E71 was leaked, I believe, longer than the BB.....yet the E71 still has not been announced....I wonder what's taking so long? Maybe they are having production problems after closing the German plant :)

    *OFFICIAL THREAD: Nokia N97

Of course. It's just alot of people seem eager to jump on this device immediatly. At least thats the impression I get. Is there a release date for the nam yet? Just curious. This device is way out of the ballpark for my newly crafted phone funds spending acct. anyway.

    World's Oldest Animation

That's awesome, but does it really qualify as animation? It's more like a flip-book. Still, cool.

Danny Phantom, Jake Long and Juniper Lee

Also Jake isn't afraid to go in headfirst... which ususally ends badly. But in a quick summary: Jake is fun-loving but impulsive. Juniper is a tough fighter but is kind of angered easily. Danny is thoughtful and intelligent but low on self-esteem.

    TV animation seasons ...

It's all driven by ratings. November and February are ratings months, so that's when shows air their most episodes.

That was great, the McFarlane one is greater, and the printer one literally had me tearing up!

    The Ultimate Girl Genius.

Shouldn't Velma Dinkley be counted as a genius as well? Nevertheless, I'd pick Susan and Mary Test. Those twin sisters always come up with something new for Johnny's adventures.

    Dreamworks Animation

I thought their Aardam co-productions (I.E. Chicken Run and Flushed Away) looked pretty good, and I throw in my vote with Montery Jack on the MvA humans. Other than that, you're right, but I've always thought Dreamworks movies had beutiful backgrounds and effects, even when their character...

Fun to do when your bored.

Lately I've been feeling a sense of negativity on this site, and a lot of it being caused from me, so I thought it'd be kind of keen to bump this thread sort of as a recommendation thread for those who've wanted to try a show out on random but wanted to know if it's for them, what to watch...

The Sunday Telegraph's Top 10 Animation Movies

I watched Spirited Away when it debuted in the States, not my cup of tea. The heroine was annoying. The film looked great but I didn't care for the characters or the story. I've only heard of half the list, I'll have to see if I can find something on the others on y-tube. By the by, a...

    Characters messing with the opening

In an early Bugs Bunny cartoon called Tortoise Beats Hare (Fred "Tex" Avery 1941) Bugs reads the title card reading the names wrong and eventually spitting out his carrot and ripping it up after reading the title.
