    Lost In Translation

are you kidding? its a classic :) looking forward to *lost in translation* - although i don't know too much about it, or exactly what to expect - which is always good. but from reading here *punch drunk love* springs to mind - similarly a straightforward love story, with *arthouse* tones. i was...

    found randomly....koyaanisqatsi

yes the first film is great. The other 2 actually make the first one seem less good - same tricks, and the soundtracks aren't very good IMO you could also try the film The Thin Blue Line - highly stylised reconstructions of a murder miscarriage, also with a Philip Glass score.........

Stomach issue leading to high BP, rapid heart rate, extreme dizziness

Considering what's affected - heart rate, blood pressure, gastrointestinal, respiratory, and that you have dry mouth - this points to possible damage to your autonomic nervous system. The ephedra was enough to do this, that's one of the side effects it can have. One dose was enough. You could...

Would you let your children watch this movie?

Aladdin, I also read the book many moons ago, and found it fascinating. Concerning "Watership" vs. Freddie (now there's a match), just goes to show which one is the better movie perhaps! M http://the-script.blogspot.com (running and ducking)

"Critically acclaimed" films that you hated

Oh yeah, definitely have to agree on: English Patient (biggest yawn ever?) 2001: A Space Odyssey (ok, not awful, but disappointing) The Rock (yuck, Sean ain't made a good flick since Bond) The Matrix (what a rip-off of old Twilight Zone stories) Harry Potter (crap for kiddies) It's A Wonderful...

What a load of garbage Diary of the Dead was

The "Day" remake had NOTHING to do with Romero whatsoever!. I'm surprised he didn't sue the "makers". Apparently, it's not against the law to name a film similarly titled to another, and fool the audience into thinking that theyre connected. the old video shelves used to be full of misleading...
