I've only heard "Brave Murder Day" with Akerfeldt on vocals.. always meant to check out other albums, but never got around to it. I should probably do that... as I enjoyed that album quite a bit.

No, I'm not pregnant or female. But in general, (other than Meg White) most good drummers don't get enough credit because they are shadowed by the lead guitars and the vocals. It's probably harder to keep four people in a band together than it is to go off and do your own seperate lead part.

Listen to Northern Sky a few times and you'll get into it. It's a very album different to Pink Moon but it's just as good.
