When I watched it many many years ago I too was in the dark and had headphones on and I fell asleep. In the fi;lm someone slammed a door or something and it woke me up with a jump.

Although I enjoyed it, I didn't find it as funny as I expected. I chuckled a couple of times, but not his usual laugh out loud stuff. I didn't particularly enjoy the first half that much, but the second half was quite good.

It's a "region 5" copy, which is basically a DVD quality copy of the film. but I agree, once again the studios shoot themselves in the foot by staggering the release dates.

I bought the Toy Story 1 and 2 blu rays earlier this week. I have to say that the picture and sound are absolutely stunning. Well worth the upgrade, and there are some new extras as well. I really can't be bothered with 3D. At present the quality of 3D on tv/blu ray/dvd is pretty poor...
