I've got both phones and I haven't been able to get Opera Mini working on either of them. The V3i always tells me there isn't an internet connection when there is one. As far as multimedia features for each phone, I'd pick the V3i for mp3 because iTunes is easier to use than the mp3 player on...

That's what's killing me - i've sent maybe 3-4 txt messages, used the phone for 40-50 mins of talk time cumulatively, got misleading "battery is full" messages. Did i get a bad phone or what?

It's the two-handed surfing that was the kicker for me. Coming from an 8125, I love the one-handed use the e61 provides and the small amount of fixes in the new FW just doesn't compare, IMO. If the next upgrade takes away the reliance on the blue function key AND makes some nice improvements...
