    Maple story why str beats wep att or wep att beat str?

    So I was on maple and have a 9 str cape and I brought a 2 att pac, the dmg went higher than the 9 str cape. So i though that a 100 att sparta is better than the 97 att 4 str night raven wing so I brought it but the raven is stronger dmg range by 200, why is this?
