    Please kill yourself Kanye?

He shouldn't try all this singing malarky, that's for sure. Apparantly he fucked up Love Lockdown and walked off stage at the gig my mate was at. I used to hate him but i did some research and he is a pretty good producer, it must be said. It doesn't seem to rub off in his solo work though, i...

Back to the River Aras: A Collapsed History of System of a Down

Ozzfest System late 1990's was epic. "Spiders" remains an epic tack and among my top five favs of theirs. Strong, creative review; cool to see all the personal styles of review everyone does here. Overall I was a bit disappointed with the album revisiting it; a lot of good songs but few that...

    "Ponyo" Talkback (Spoilers)

My minor quibble is no doubt due to my blockbluster-blasted sensibilities ; I'm so used to constant visual stimulation from other animated films that Ponyo's moderate pace did get to me a little. But I blame my sensibilities, not the film.

    Biggest Oscar mistakes

Just watched "Days of Wine and Roses". Good performance by Jack Lemmon, and amazing performance by Lee Remick. Anne Bancroft was good in The Miracle Worker, but I think Lee Remicks performance was even stronger. Very good year, though, also Gerladine Page and Bette Davis had awesome roles...
