I thought it pretty accurate (agree with previous poster who mentioned that the royal court wasn't such a feature in the book) in that they got in all the main points - though may have changed the order a tad. They kept the characters pretty similar - for me the one who didn't quite ring true...

I think the viewing figures will be pretty high. It's well done and a feast for the eyes and has potential. Tonight's episode was necessarily something of a scene setter and I think most people who watched it will want to see what happens next. Hope so, anyway.

Just to warn anyone in Wales it doesn't appear to be showing on Frday next week so i've sky+ for BBC England. I watched episode 4 last night and it also moved me to tears, I thought they both acted it very well. Its nice to watch something a bit different.
