Watched this last night, and it was brilliant, better than SOTD, so many gags, beautifully shot and buried in there was a kinda touching story too... i loved it, deffinatly one i'd rewatch

I agree. Before The Restaurant last year, I would have watched this programme with interest. I love cooking and had a high opinion of RB. But as soon as the adverts started, I realised I have lost all respect for him now, so I won't be watching.

IMO,it's not really a bad idea.
But...most of the time it's only movies that get posted here so I think the other sections would be quite empty all the time.

Can't believe the hostile comments about this series. There was a similar letter in last week's rRadio Times, and a positive reply in this week's. I found it thoroughly absorbing. I didn't mind at all the 'inane' comments of 'Lu' in her foil-trpe role to Jonathan; in fact, it was quite amusing...

I fondly remember seeing several of the ITV showings in the 90s, and have since picked up a lot of the Universal monsters series in particular. Would be great to see these classic films exposed to a new generation instead of endless inferior remakes.
