I actually have the problem of not finishing with many albums, even ones that are normal length. But I don't think length matters that much except in extreme cases. I think you're right. We shouldn't let people with a genuine interest in a band ever make a comment about them. Only those who don't care about an act can really judge, with the clarity of distance both emotional and physical, how a band, or more specifically their guitar rifts are. Well said.
