Would the "massive" appeal by mostly to dirty old men in raincoats, young teena boys with magazine experience onlyand a few stag- or hen types with the occasional wannabe WAG in tow? Or have I misinterpreted the marketing of thie particular movie entirely?

I think what it is that we're lacking is teh big family blockbusters. Nowadays you get fabulous thrillers, teen slashers, broad comedies etc but you don't get very many FAMILY films like the Indiana Jones or Back To the Future trilogies. It seems to only be the animation houses who do these...

I think this year hasn't been great so far. None of the blockbuster or highly anticipated films have blown me away. So far the best two films for me have been The Lovely Bones and The Blind Side.

Casino Royale was terrible but it was like everybody gave it good reviews because they thought they had to. IMO it was shit and Daniel Craig looks like Jim fixed it for him to be James bond for the day.

I agree. He was a very lame, untersting villain which is why I don't think the film was as good as it could have been.

Watched yesterday and really enjoyed it the reviews I'd seen where pretty poor but I think it was a good family movie that had some fantastic charaters in it and was well worth the ticket price.

I so agree with all of that. I would also have liked to have seen more of Stanford & Anthony as I loved them both in the series. When there was rumours of a funeral, I thought it might have been one of them so I was so pleased that no one died.
