:D True he'll stop getting given the budgets soon and will maybe start making something decent. I think McGregor is a good actor he just seems to make bad choices with big budget movies.

This is the movies thread and not the films thread, would anybody want that to change? Also as previously mentioned, film is the technology so using this word or movie really makes no difference. Also a mainstream film is called a popcorn movie rather than a popcorn film

I think this film will be a dissapointment. It looks like there isn't a storyline to it. Just Mr Bean walking about it doing his usual dumb stuff that's already been done before.

The Godfather trilogy. I found it hard to sit through even one film in the trilogy. I just watched it is parts over the period of a month. I was that bored with the film. I do like other films in the gangster/crime genre such as Goodfellas, Scarface, Casino etc but I didn't like Godfather.

I thought it was brilliant. I had no idea what to expect and I loved it. Loved the set, the idea, the cast etc. I guessed the twist quite early on but I still enjoyed it and the extra parts of the twist were quite enjoyable to watch. Nice to see how it was all wrapped up. As for the ending...

I agree with the above posters. What is the point in this? The fact the awarRAB will be voted for by the public means populist films will scoop all the awarRAB. Meanwhile other 'off the beaten track' films will be left by the wayside. You only have to look at ITV's Record of the Year each...
